The sports world was rocked this afternoon when Matt Eberflus came to the stand to announce new coordinators for the team. Was the world rocked by Eberflus’ statements about his new coordinators or him retaining control of the play calling on the defense? I have no clue. The man to my right looks defeated. A few words that come to mind when I see him? Loser, scumbag, incompetent, inept, helpless, feeble, simpleton, nitwit, a bitch. However, the man we see to our left looks like a completely different person. Definitely not a nitwit or a bitch thats for sure.
He looks like a person one may describe as; reliable, dependable, honest, sincere, steadfast, credible. He’s a man you might even trust your first born son with. All of a sudden the future seems bright. The overarching feeling of doom is being lifted from my shoulders. We can smile again. Our future is in the hands of a football genius. Whether that future is Justin Fields or Caleb Williams? Doesn’t matter. We have a coach with a beard and a new haircut. A new light shines on Chicago today, and that light is a clean, well-blended haircut and a beard. Now you may be thinking, Shawn... are we really going to change the outlooks of a franchise because a man grows a beard? No,no,no, you watch your tongue... It's not just a beard; it's a majestic, awe-inspiring cascade of facial follicles that commands unwavering attention and the utmost respect. Each hair is a testament to his football prowess and a daring declaration that, the Bears are freaking Back, Baby!
