Get Ready to learn Midwestern, Buddy. Caleb, you're coming to Chicago.

Updated: Mar 13

As the NFL offseason ramps up the rumor mill is on fire the last couple of days. (lukewarm more like it) It started when Bears GM Ryan Poles came to the podium yesterday to talk about the future of the Chicago Bears. He basically says we are going to trade Justin ASAP because it isn’t right for him to have to ”live in the gray.” (Or they could maybe… sign him?) I think this makes Poles come off as a “players GM” and bodes well for the future of the Bears. More top tier Free Agents will want to play for a team that cares about their players. (Same ol’ same ol’ Bears ran like a Mom -n- Pop shop)

Then, Justin Fields' manager takes to instagram to share Justin having a moment in his home. Fields seems excited and you can almost hear in the background, “You ready to go home?.” Good guy Ryan Poles sending Justin home to Georgia? (Or he was just mimicking his H.S. Special Teams players like later reported) As a fan of Players>Billionaire Owners, I love seeing the possibility of a player getting to “go home.” Someone crank up Diddy, it’s a celebration.

One person who isn’t coming home is future 1.01 draft pick Caleb Williams. Caleb played High School ball in the D.C. area, but the "Tendy God," Sam Howell played just well enough in the early parts of the season for the Panthers to win the suck off. Sorry DMV, have fun on the island of irrelevancy with Drake Maye. (It would be so Bears to trade out of the 1.01 and settle with Drake May and assets)

The final straw came early this morning when Vegas figured out the fix was in. DraftKings was the first book to remove Justin Fields' "next team" line. Before it was removed the Falcons were at +400 to be Fields’ team next year. 30 minutes ago the line returned at -250.

(Sure cause Vegas has never played the media in the past to make billions off addicts like yourself. It's not like they haven't built up the story tweeting about him 4 times in the last 24 Hours.) The jig is up. The game is over. The cover is blown. The curtain has fallen on Justin Field's career in Chicago. (Sure, buddy)

But hey, I could be wrong.
