Chicago Bears Trade for Old Man Keenan Allen

Jay Glazer just dropped a bomb on the sports world when he tweeted that the Chicago Bears are trading for 31 year old Keenan Allen. My immediate thought was we must be running it back with Justin Fields. I began to spiral feeling the warmth of Caleb Williams quickly slipping from my grasp. Then I check the group chat and see this from my good buddy Kevin. “I feel like getting him and Gerald Everett is just to get a bunch of Cali bros for calib.” First off Kevin, it’s Caleb. Second off… your so right. The Bears are learning from their mistakes. Justin Fields was set up to fail from day one. Keenan Allen’s 10,530 receiving yards doubles any receiver for the historic Chicago Bears franchise. Justin was given the likes of a dusty Allen Robinson, Damiere Byrd, and Marquise Goodwin. How do you set up a rookie to succeed in the NFL? You give him a safety net like Keenan Allen. You allow D.J. Moore to work the intermediate and deep routes like he succeeded with so much in Carolina. You bring in a 6’3” 250 pound tight end to pair with Cole Kmet. You bring in one of the best pass catching satellite plus backs in the league. The bears are doing right by their 1.01. They are doing right by their Diva. The Chicago Bears will finally have a franchise quarterback that they commit to building around. The Chicago front n office is opening their arms (and pocket books) to Caleb, signaling a new era where the city builds its future around the arm and talents of a star.

But hey, I could be wrong.
